BREAKING: Our Latest Investigation

In June 2021, an Animal Outlook investigator recorded video footage of a non-ambulatory or “downed” cow being delivered to and cruelly slaughtered at Bravo Packing in a protracted episode that we believe violated both federal and state laws. A “downed” cow is one who is ill or injured and unable to stand or walk without assistance. Watch our undercover video here. ([link removed])

We are calling for criminal charges to be brought against Bravo (not associated with Bravo Pet Food), which slaughters cows to produce dog food and horses to produce exotic animal food. We are also calling for criminal charges to be brought against J&S Barr, LLC, a live animal hauler that advertises its services as “[r]emoval of dead cows, horses, sheep, goats, and alpacas up to 40 miles of Quarryville, PA.” Learn more about our recent investigation. From Bad to Worse: The Rise of GMO Salmon

AquaBounty produces AquAdvantage salmon, which are genetically modified to grow twice as fast as their non-modified counterparts. This was accomplished by combining DNA sequences from two other kinds of fish, Chinook salmon and ocean pout, with Atlantic salmon. But this novel science has unintended consequences.

We explain why it's bad for animal welfare, the environment, and the consumer, and why genetically modified animals are considered drugs. Learn more. ([link removed])
