This is the last week of the month, and we’re behind on our fundraising goal. Republicans have been ignoring their duties as legislators in favor of traveling around the country and raising money.

While Republicans rely on wealthy corporations to contribute to their campaigns, we do not. We rely on an army of grassroots supporters like you. Will you help us reach our July fundraising goal by contributing today?

While Republicans have been out fundraising, here’s what Lori has been up to:

• Making sure that families and small businesses get the relief they need as they get back on their feet.
• Working to get dangerous chemicals out of our drinking water.
• Getting key infrastructure proposals passed to stop sewage overflows and rebuild our roads and bridges.

Not only will these grants help my district, they will be accessible to the entire country. This once-in-a-generation investment will accelerate upgrades to systems that should’ve been improved a long time ago.

This is the kind of work that makes a difference in peoples’ lives. This is the change in Washington that we need, not Republicans back in charge working to pass tax breaks for the rich at the expense of middle class families.
