Earlier this month, Tucker Carlson viciously attacked Cori on live TV. He said that "Missouri Congresswoman Cori Bush...could never have a job in the real world because she's not smart enough for a real job."
And since then, our office has received hundreds of dangerous threats on Cori's life and racist attacks about Cori's activism. Here's just one example:
John, this is no coincidence, and it's dangerous to pretend otherwise. Fox News profits off of misinformation, conspiracy theories, fear-mongering, and racism. So when Tucker Carlson attacked Cori on live TV, he helped cause the uptick in threats Cori has been seeing.
This rise in attacks has made it clear that as our movement makes progress in our work to deliver justice and freedom for all — white supremacists plan on fighting harder than ever to slow down our movement.
