Dr. Anthony Fauci finally shot back at Sen. Rand Paul during a Senate hearing, calling out Paul's continual and baseless accusations that the U.S. government funded the development of the coronavirus.
“You do not know what you're talking about, quite frankly, and I want to say that officially. If anybody is lying here, senator, it is you.”
Paul's vendetta against Dr. Fauci is a ridiculous attempt to score political points, and it's costing lives. Paul's been spreading misinformation about Dr. Fauci's credibility and the effectiveness of vaccines since this pandemic began, and now he's seeking a criminal referral against our nation's leading public health expert.
