John,

Every good athlete knows that securing a game day win starts before you even step onto the field.

You need more than the right gameplan. You need to put in the time and the effort to ensure that you have what it takes to execute in the moment and persevere until the job is done, no matter what.

That’s why we’ve got to gear up NOW to make sure we can go up against Mitch McConnell and his dark money fundraising machine and come out on top.

This will be one of the fiercest, most competitive races of 2022 -- and one of the most expensive. There’s no such thing as an off season, John -- will you chip in $5 or more to my campaign and Seth Moulton's to ensure we have the resources we need to flip this seat BLUE?

Election analysts say that flipping Ohio’s open Senate seat is one of our best chances to expand our Democratic majority.

We’re facing an uphill fight -- but at this moment in the race, we have a major advantage as Republicans have their efforts and war chests focused on winning a messy GOP primary.

While they’re fighting amongst themselves to see who can be Donald Trump’s biggest lackey, we have an opportunity to build up our resources so that we’re prepared to take on the winner of the GOP primary and keep up the fight to put workers first from now until next November.

We know that the eventual GOP candidate will receive millions in support from outside groups, so it’s critical for us to use this time to gain as much of a head start as possible -- will you pitch in to my campaign and Seth Moulton's to help us build the grassroots operation we need to organize across the state?

There are no overnight solutions. But together, I know that we have what it takes to win BIG and start delivering real change for American workers.

Let’s do this,
