No gimmick, team -- our July fundraising numbers are low, and we are not where we need to be.
Early investments in our Vote To Live Campaign is how we were able to register 114,000 voters before Election Day last year. We plan to register even more Black voters in 2022, but that means hitting each and every goal we set so we stay on pace.
A lot of folks stepped up to donate after Stefanie's email yesterday, but we're still not where we need to be. Will you chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can now to help us close the remaining $5,028 gap? Donate to The Vote To Live Campaign before the deadline ยป

Subject: Being blunt about the situation
We get it, team. It's the summer -- a lot of us are trying to get away from our screens anytime we can and spend time with friends and family, especially now that many of us are vaccinated.
But here's the thing, we can't miss our fundraising goal this month. Extremist lawmakers are passing voter suppression laws left and right, and they're directly targeting Black communities. There's too much at stake to come up short. So here's how you can help out, friend:
Our team has determined we need to raise $7,090 dollars before Saturday's end-of-month deadline to put our Vote To Live Campaign in a strong spot to engage and register Black voters. Even a $5 donation will help us get closer to our goal. Will you chip in?
2020 taught us that the sooner we engage Black voters, the more folks we can register and get to the polls in local, state, and federal elections. Early investments have an enormous impact on Vote To Live's success, which means we have to hit our July fundraising goal -- no matter what.
I've reached out to this team before about fundraising. I'm hoping I can count on you again.
Will you chip in $5 or even $10 right now to fuel our Vote To Live Campaign? Together, we can combat voter suppression and register even more Black voters in 2022.
Onward,
Stefanie
