- NYTimes From The Washington Post to The New York Times, reporters are honing in on the DCCC’s Frontline List — sounding the alarm on vulnerable Democratic incumbents who are about to face a tough fight in next year’s midterms. All eyes are on NewDems because these are OUR districts. The Democratic Majority was built by NewDem candidates running (and winning!) in purple districts across the country. Many of our Members represent these swing suburban districts that delivered the White House for Biden in 2020. Historical trends show that the governing party usually loses ground in the midterms.
