Welcoming Marlo Safi to the ISI team

Dear John,

You may remember me telling you about an outstanding young ISI alumna named Marlo Safi.

Well, I’m thrilled to tell you that Marlo will be joining the ISI team as National Director of Student Programs.

You can read more about Marlo and her new role
here.

She knows just how tough the situation can be for ISI students who question campus orthodoxy. Not too long ago, she was a student who felt isolated and attacked for her views.

“Looking back,” Marlo has said, “I can see how easy it is for even principled conservative students to get swept up in the progressive tide on college campuses. It almost happened to me.”

But Marlo discovered ISI, and it changed everything.

“As a college student, ISI gave me an indispensable education centered on the ‘permanent things,’” she says.

And she’s joining the ISI team to help give that same education to talented students all over the country.

With her talent, her passion for ISI’s mission, and her experience with all aspects of the ISI student program, Marlo is well positioned to help ISI reach new students and give them the true education they’re being denied on today’s woke campuses.

Marlo will start as National Director in August. I hope you’ll join me in welcoming her to the ISI team!

Best,

John A. Burtka IV
President and CEO

P.S. Since graduating from college, Marlo has worked as a journalist at National Review and the Daily Caller. You can read more about her
