This might be a hot take, John, but I'm *not* running to represent these guys:
❌ Giant corporations
❌ Special interest lobbyists
❌ Shady corporate PACs
I'm running to represent you. Because I believe working people — not corporate execs in secret smoke filled rooms — should be calling the shots in our democracy. Wild stuff, I know...
That's also why I made an important commitment on day one of this race: To not accept a single cent from corporate PACs.
People told me I'd never win a race as competitive and expensive as this one without those deep-pocketed corporate donors. But together, we are proving them wrong. One grassroots, small-dollar donation at a time.
But we're relying on a looooot of grassroots contributions to win this race — and according to my finance team, you haven't donated to our campaign just yet. John, will you do our campaign a big favor today by sending $5 or more our way for the very first time? I'd be so deeply grateful.
Here's a stat I'm incredibly proud of, John:
69.86% of our total fundraising over the past quarter came from grassroots contributions of $200 or less.
That makes our campaign the most-reliant on grassroots donors of *any* candidate in this Pennsylvania Senate race, Democrat or Republican. Boom. 💯
That's an incredible accomplishment. But it also means that grassroots donations — the vast majority of which come in through emails just like this one — are truly what powers our campaign. So I gotta ask just once more today:
