Gov reached out a couple of days ago about our first end-of-month deadline since the fundraising blackout period, and I wanted to follow up with you.
We set an ambitious fundraising goal this month of $35,000 because we need to make up for the six month blackout period when we were legally unable to do any fundraising.
While our hands were tied waiting for the blackout period to end, Gov’s four Republican opponents wasted no time stockpiling money from the GOP war chest to try and unseat him.
We’ve got a lot of ground to cover in the ramp-up to the election. We’re coming to you with a straightforward ask: Can you pitch in $10 right now to help us regain our footing and prepare this campaign for the fight ahead?
Our end-of-month deadline is four days away, and if we don’t start picking up the pace, I’m worried we’re going to miss our goal.
We’re expecting our opponents to stop at nothing to try and win. This means we’ve got to build up our resources so we can go head-to-head with the attack ads, disinformation, and anything else they throw our way.
We’re counting on this grassroots team to help us ramp up our organizing capacity so that we can get Gov. Sisolak reelected. Will you chip in $10 so Steve can gear up to defend his seat against his four Republican challengers?
We couldn’t do this without you,
Eva Black
