Earlier this month I emailed my supporters to ask which issues you want to see Congress address in the second half of 2021.

Protecting voting rights, addressing the climate crisis, and preventing gun violence were among the top issues selected — and I’m proud that House Democrats have already taken action on each this year.

Unfortunately, Senate Republicans have prevented a long list of legislation passed by the House from ever making it to President Biden’s desk.

This obstruction, along with the new voter suppression laws they’ve passed in Florida and other states this year, is how they plan to win back power in the midterms — we can’t let them succeed.
