John, did you hear?
Nina Turner's special election primary is one week from today, and the Working Families Party has launched an independent effort on the ground in Ohio to help her win.
Conservative super PACs and Republican donors have poured nearly $1 MILLION into this race to defeat Nina — but we know people power can stop them. That's why we're running a major field campaign in the district that includes phone banks and canvasses to get out the vote.
Look, we don’t need to tell you why this is so important. Voters in Ohio's 11th Congressional District could decide the future of our entire progressive agenda in this primary — and the results will have big implications for our movement as we prepare for the 2022 cycle.
We know Nina is a bold leader ready to meet the scale of the crises Americans are facing every day — from the climate disaster hitting communities particularly hard this summer to this pandemic we still so desperately need relief and recovery from. She has the momentum to win. But we can’t rest for a single second.
