This summer has already been jam-packed with exciting, new progress for Canadians and our movement. And as we approach the end of July, it’s inspiring to reflect on the hard work that you’ve been making possible.
Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are working hard to build back better with a stronger and more resilient Canada. Five years ago this month, the first payments of the Canada Child Benefit were sent out – and this month, we increased the CCB again so all kids can have the very best start in life. We’re accelerating our fight against climate change, with our plan to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 now passed into law. And we’re making urgent new investments in affordable housing, so that all Canadian families have a safe and affordable place to call home.
But it does not stop there, friend.
As so many of us begin to get back to doing the things we love most, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are continuing to work to keep Canadians safe, healthy and supported. The weeks ahead are critical to keep building on this progress and growing our movement.
With crucial grassroots fundraising deadlines to meet so we can keep fighting for a better future, we’re counting on supporters like you all across the country. There’s a lot at stake for Canadians – and especially in a minority Parliament, we know that we cannot take any of this important progress for granted.
