Virginia House of Delegates candidate Bridgette Craighead.
Bridgette is a native of Rocky Mount, Virginia, who was moved to action by the murder of George Floyd.
She’s a mom and small business owner who went from working as a hairstylist to fighting inequality as an activist -- organizing her town’s first-ever Black Lives Matter protest.
Now, she’s taking on a very Trumpian Republican incumbent who claims she doesn’t fit into her own community. (That’s some thinly veiled racism right there.)
