The opposition is making all kinds of ridiculous claims against my record. They’re trying to say I’m not progressive, I’m not forward-thinking, I’m not doing enough to make America a better place.
My opponents want to say I’m not progressive? Talk to me when you’ve co-sponsored Medicare For All, like I did. Talk to me when you’ve co-sponsored the Green New Deal, like I did. Talk to me when you were endorsed by the Progressive Caucus PAC, like I was. I’ll wait.
Look, the facts couldn’t be clearer: folks are already engaging in bad-faith attacks against me, knowing they’re misleading the public. That’s the exact opposite of what we need in Congress these days, especially in the wake of us just having ousted the Liar-in-Chief from the Oval Office.
