Last year, D.C. slashed $15 million in police department funding, New York
City shifted $1 billion away from their police budget, and Chicago proposed a
cut of $80 million from their police budget. 

Now, our cities are suffering:

* D.C. had a record-setting 100 homicides by mid-July.
* New York City has hit 200 murders.
* Chicago has hit nearly 400 murders.
