Today, Republican leadership in the State Assembly have called an extraordinary session to override Tony Evers’ veto of their bill to help Wisconsinites get back to work by rescinding the additional $300 in federal unemployment benefits.

The state labor shortage has reached crisis level under Tony Evers. Wisconsin small business owners are raising wages and offering unprecedented hiring bonuses as they try to attract workers, but they are having little success with government in the way.
