Team,

We know how important it is for Minnesotans to make the most of the summer. So here’s a quick recap of some crucial developments you might have missed over the past couple of months:

❗️GOP candidate for Governor Scott Jensen was recently caught planning to speak at an anti-vaccination event hosted by a right-wing extremist charged in the January 6 insurrection

❗️MN Senate GOP Majority Leader Paul Gazelka, who spent the past 18 months trying to undermine Governor Walz’s emergency response and blocking meaningful criminal justice reform, is rumored to be announcing his campaign for Governor any day

❗️The Republican Governors Association (RGA) now has Minnesota marked as "fourth" on their list of top targets

❗️Our next budget deadline is coming up on Saturday. Pitch in $10 or more to help us finish strong!

Jensen alone claims he’s already raised more than $700,000 since launching his campaign. With more high-profile GOP candidates expected to enter the race soon, it’s only going to get harder for us to keep up. And that’s to say nothing of the Republican super PAC money headed our way.

Long story short: If we fall behind this early, it will be nearly impossible for us to make it up down the road.

We still need to bring in $8,826 by Saturday to hit our budget target, and we’re counting on your support to get there. If you can, pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works today to help us close the gap.

Thank you,

Team Walz-Flanagan
