Candace Owens -- conservative commentator, former Turning Point USA employee, and staunch Trump supporter -- tried to catch Democrats in a vaccine lie on Twitter last week.

Unfortunately for her, Owens' tweet wasn't the takedown of Democrats she desperately wanted. Instead, she ended up arriving at exactly the same conclusion that Democrats like us have already reached: The COVID-19 vaccine is free because it saves lives, so every other life-saving medication should ALSO be affordable.

John, you know the GOP is out of excuses for astronomical drug costs when their unofficial spokeswoman starts preaching progressive talking points. This is our moment to speak out about the inaccessibility of our health care system, but we can't do it if Owens' powerful Republican friends sweep this conversation under the rug.
