For years, DFA has worked to drastically improve the way we approach
criminal justice in America.

It has been our mission to back candidates up and down the ballot that
will fight for bold policies, expand the electorate, upend the status quo
and truly build the political power it will take to enact the change we
need.

Our dedication to this work is why in some of our nation’s largest cities,
we have elected progressive District Attorneys running to truly reform

Since 2016, DFA members have helped elect transformational District

Philadelphia, Rachael Rollins in Boston, Wesley Bell in St. Louis, and
Chesa Boudin in San Francisco.

What each of their victories proved is that when candidates engage the New
American Majority -- young voters, people of color and white progressives
-- with bold ideas that will truly improve criminal justice, tremendous
change is not only possible, it is inevitable.
