I’d prefer not to email asking for money for my reelection campaign, but Democrats will lose our Senate majority if I lose - and a new WMUR poll shows me behind.

Winning in a swing state like New Hampshire is both hard and expensive. I only won my last race by 1,017 votes, and Mike Pence and Mitch McConnell are already rallying Republicans here for the next election. The money we raise now is vital for inoculating against the misleading attacks the GOP is already lobbing our way.

I wouldn’t ask if this wasn’t important: Please donate $5 or as much as you can to help protect New Hampshire’s vulnerable Senate seat.

It’s not just Senate control on the line. The future of the Supreme Court is at stake too.

Mitch McConnell has promised that if Republicans take back the Senate majority, he’ll refuse to consider any of President Biden’s Supreme Court nominees. With Donald Trump’s three ultra-conservative justices already skewing the balance of the Court, that’s not a chance we can afford to take.
