Hi team, I want to give you a quick update on what our campaign has been up to this month. It’s important to me that we keep you up to date with everything that’s been going on, and this month has been particularly busy!
Here are some of the things that have come up in July:
CAMPAIGN UPDATES
A fifth Republican opponent has filed to run against me. This race is becoming more crowded and more competitive, FIRSTNAME. National Republicans spent millions attacking me in an attempt to flip this seat last year, and we’re expecting them to do it again.
Political experts are predicting that our district is a toss-up, so the stakes are higher than ever.
However, thanks to amazing supporters like you, we knocked our June fundraising goal out of the park! This campaign is fueled by your contributions and they have a huge impact on our ability to reach every Nevadan in the 3rd District. Thank you for your support in our fight to keep NV-03 BLUE and for helping our campaign keep up the momentum.
POLICY UPDATES
- I worked across the aisle to help secure a critical $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package to put key investments into our roads, bridges, Western water storage, broadband and high-speed rail that is a long overdue investment in our nation’s infrastructure
- The desert southwest is experiencing a historic drought, with Lake Mead’s water levels at its lowest since the creation of the Hoover Dam in the 1930s. That’s why I introduced the Large Scale Water Recycling Project Investment Act, creating a water recycling grant program throughout Western states.
