The Hyde Amendment is a long-standing provision that prohibits the federal government from using your tax dollars to pay for abortions.

However, many national Democrats want to scrap this pro-life legislation altogether. And Joe Biden, a backer of the Hyde Amendment for the majority of his political career, has suddenly changed his tune. He will no longer stand in the way of this radical attempt to restore federal funding for abortion.
