Donald Trump just said the quiet part out loud again, friend.

According to a new report from The Hill, this morning Trump told Senate Republicans, “Don’t do the infrastructure deal, wait until after we get proper election results in 2022...”

Unfortunately, diehard obstructionism has been the norm since 2008, but two additional things from Trump’s statement stand out:

1.
Trump
is
still
dictating
marching
orders
to
Republican
leadership,
even
after
endangering
their
lives
on
January
6th.
2.
Trump
and
his
allies
have
no
intention
of
accepting
election
results
they
deem
to
be
“improper.”

We need this country to be united again, but more importantly, we need to get it working again. If the 147’s main priority is playing partisan games in Washington that’s fine, we’ll elect a Congress that will pave highways, fix bridges, and do the work voters sent them to D.C. to do.
