Last week, Republican candidate and Donald Trump’s former Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke gave a radio interview — and it painted a stark picture of who we’re going up against in this race for Montana’s new congressional district.

Not only did Zinke openly brag about receiving Trump’s “total and complete endorsement,” but he went on to question whether the disturbing events on January 6, 2020 were really an insurrection.

This isn’t the first time he’s turned his back on the reality of January 6 — when he announced his run, he declined to comment on the attack. It shouldn’t be hard to say it like it is and admit that the attack on our democracy that day was in fact an insurrection, but Zinke is clearly playing politics to try and win Trump’s base.

With the former president’s endorsement, Zinke is no doubt going to be hard to beat in this critical race for Montana’s new House seat, which could determine majority control of Congress.

But with her years of public service, leadership in the state legislature, and commitment to fighting for every Montanan, we know Laurie is the most qualified candidate to take him on in the general election — we just have to get her there!

This Saturday is our campaign’s very first end-of-month deadline, and we’re currently about $5,000 shy from our July goal. Can you pitch in $10 or more to support Laurie and help her take on far-right Ryan Zinke in 2022?

Together, we can make Laurie the Democratic nominee to challenge Zinke and become the representative Montana deserves in Washington.
