I’m about to ask you to donate to my re-election campaign before our July fundraising deadline, but first, I want to take a moment to thank you for powering this campaign.

Last quarter, over 90% of our donations were small, grassroots contributions. I’m not taking any money from corporate PACs and federal lobbyists, so we’re a true grassroots-supported campaign. But, I’ll be honest: That also makes us vulnerable to folks like Mitch McConnell and Rick Scott who have a massive fundraising machine and their eyes set on flipping my seat and thus, the Senate majority.

We can make up ground on them with a strong response today, but I do want you to know we’re not on track to hit this month’s fundraising goal by Saturday. So because I've seen what this team is capable of, I’m asking:

National Republicans and their allies spent more than $15 million in the 2010 and 2016 election cycles to try and flip this seat, but this grassroots team and Colorado voters proved them wrong both times. We know what it takes to win because we’ve done it before, and we know we need to prepare for a real battle from now until Election Day.
