John - Here are the three main points you need to know about this race.

1. There are zero African American women currently serving in the U.S. Senate, and no African American has ever been elected to the Senate from North Carolina.

2. North Carolina’s Senate seat is winnable. Cook Political Report rated this race as one of only two toss-ups nationwide, and CNN says this seat is one of the "most likely to flip in 2022".

3. And Cheri Beasley is the only candidate — Democrat or Republican — running in this race who’s won two statewide elections. So we can flip this seat, make history, and expand Democrats’ majority.

But we need your help, John. If you are able, will you make a $3 donation today to our people-powered campaign to elect Cheri Beasley to the Senate? [[link removed]]

Cheri has proven she can win in North Carolina — even in tough years for Democrats like the Tea Party wave of 2014.

She has the experience to lead, and she knows how to represent and fight for the people. But Republican super PACs and corporate interests are going to spend whatever it takes to try to stop us and give the Senate majority back to Mitch McConnell.

So can you chip in $3 to help power us to victory and flip this seat? Cheri can’t win this tough race without grassroots support. [[link removed]]

Thank you for being a part of our team, John.
