Amy Klobuchar is revamping the Senate Rules Committee into an engine for change.
Klobuchar, the Senate Rules Committee chairwoman, flew the committee down to Atlanta for a special field hearing in the epicenter of Republican attacks on voting rights.

Mitch McConnell's shameless GOP has an authoritarian game-plan in place to limit voting access in diverse communities like Atlanta that came out strong for Joe Biden and flipped both of Georgia's Senate seats blue. McConnell knows that Republican candidates perform best when voter turnout is low. He will do whatever he can to stop Klobuchar's Rules Committee in its tracks.
But Amy Klobuchar isn't backing down.
“The point is we have a bigger jurisdiction, and that's our democracy.”
