John, Frito-Lay plant workers in Topeka, Kansas are striking this week. Many of the workers there have been forced to work 84 hours a week with no days off. Some workers haven't had a single day off in five months, including Saturdays and Sundays.

If Republicans get their way, they'll leave workers with fewer rights in this country. Will you pitch in today so we can keep fighting for reasonable working conditions in America? ([link removed])

Republicans have slowly chiseled away rights for workers in America. They’d rather side with wealthy corporations like Frito-Lay over loyal workers that don’t receive reasonable compensation or protections.

Democrats are dedicated to protecting the right to organize and ensuring that employees have reasonable working conditions. The House passed the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act this year with almost no Republican support.

Ending child labor, establishing the 40 hour workweek, and even employer-based health care, which is now the standard, all came from the work of unions. But the GOP continues to cut away the power of unions in favor of companies like Frito-Lay that abuse their workers.

Will you contribute today so we can pass laws that protect workers from powerful and greedy corporations, many of which don’t even pay taxes? ([link removed])
