Last week, Senator Rand Paul accused Dr. Fauci of acting out in self-interest and obscuring any relationship he had over gain-of-function research at a Wuhan lab, which is believed to be the origin of COVID-19.

"Well, I think it’s important to know that Dr. Fauci has a self-interest in obscuring any relationship or responsibility for anything done in the Wuhan lab," Paul said. "Without question, the evidence we presented in committee yesterday shows that the NIH was funding research in Wuhan. We showed the exact numerical series of numbers that goes with the grant numbers. So yes, they were funding the Wuhan lab."

Dr. Fauci was quick to push back and claimed that he had never lied to Congress.

However, many of Dr. Fauci's statements have been contradictory over the past year about COVID-19, especially around the topics of mask effectiveness and the origins of the virus. In fact, just last year, Dr. Fauci was caught on camera maskless and not following his social distancing guidelines at a Washington Nationals baseball game.

If Fauci doesn't even follow his own rules, then how can we trust what he says?

It's absurd. We believe Rand and think Fauci should be fired. Do you?
