Dear John,

As chief science officer for the
Alzheimer's Association, I know that only by continuing to invest in
research can we continue working toward a cure for Alzheimer's
disease.

And the best way to advance crucial
scientific investigations is to bring leading scientists from the
field together to share breaking research discoveries. The more we
support collaboration, the more we accelerate progress.

That's why I am excited to tell you
that today is the start of our annual Alzheimer's Association
International Conference® 2021 (AAIC®). As someone who has
shown an interest in the work of the Alzheimer's Association, you'll
want to know about the important discussions that are taking place.

Once a year at AAIC, the world's
leading scientists, clinical researchers, early career investigators,
clinicians and the care research community come together to share
breaking research discoveries that may lead to methods of prevention
and treatment and improvements in diagnosis for Alzheimer's disease.

And this year's conference kicks off
today. Your support helps make AAIC possible. When you contribute to
the Alzheimer's Association, you help to accelerate vital research and
provide care and support.

By contributing today to support AAIC
and all we do, you'll help to advance our mission to lead the way to
end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global
research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing
quality care and support.

Alzheimer's researchers are dedicated,
just as you are, to finding a cure. Many researchers choose to attend
this one conference each year to share findings, discuss research
progress and collaborate with their peers from around the world.

This is how progress happens. Our goal
is to make sure all who attend AAIC gain new ideas they can bring back
to their labs and put to work.
