This is great news, John:

Cook Political Report moves Florida Senate race from “Likely R” to “Lean R”

We've always known that Rep. Val Demings is our best chance to flip Florida blue and secure our Senate majority -- and the latest from the Cook Political Report shows our efforts to defeat the most spineless Republican in the Senate are paying off.

But this is just the beginning. The GOP proudly refers to Florida as “Trump country” for a reason -- and Marco Rubio is a corrupt, two-term incumbent. It'll take all of us stepping up to keep this momentum going and flip this seat, and we hope we can count on you today, John.

Rubio's getting real worried about this race. It's why he's already attacking Demings, a former chief of police and impeachment manager, as “a far-left, liberal extremist.” He even accused her of being “an honorary member” of the Squad -- as if that were a bad thing.

But even the worst of Rubio's attacks can't save him from his own track record. According to a Mason-Dixon poll, only 46% of Floridians think he should be reelected.

At A Woman's Place, we support bold progressive women like Val Demings who are ready to transform our government. We have a unique opportunity to send her to the Senate this cycle, but we have to be frank: We don't have the resources right now to make it happen.

Demings leads with accountability. She's a fierce defender of voting rights, an advocate for filibuster reform, and a powerful Black woman ready to champion change in a chamber that's been dominated by corrupt white men for decades.

Thank you for doing your part to ensure women like her can go up against corrupt incumbents like Rubio and win.
