Friend,
Tonight’s the fourth time I’ll be walking out on the national stage to debate my fellow Democratic candidates. But this time, there will be 12 candidates on stage -- the most we’ve had thus far.
It’ll be crowded up there, but I’ve never been one to back down from a challenge.
It’s no secret that I’m an underdog in this race, and that’s why opportunities like this debate mean so much more to a campaign like ours.
It’s a chance for me to bring bold, progressive ideas into the national conversation -- like proposing a comprehensive plan to combat gun violence, closing the racial wealth gap, and making sure that everyone in this country has access to safe, affordable housing.
And I know that the only reason I’m able to be on stage tonight is because of people like you believing enough in this effort to chip in whatever they can.
So before I go out there, I just want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I plan to make you proud.
Cory
PS: The debate will start at 8 p.m. ET tonight and will air on CNN, CNN en Español, and CNN International. It will also be livestreaming on CNN.com and nytimes.com. Be sure to follow along with me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. |
