Voter suppression is happening everywhere.

John,

We should all be concerned about Republican attempts to block access to the ballot box.

Of course, this is nothing new. For as long as activists have been fighting to expand voting rights, right-wing leaders have been doing everything possible to shut some of us out of participating in our democracy. North Carolina’s legacy of voter suppression is a stain on our state’s history, one our administration continues to fight to make right. But now the GOP is at it again.

State Senate Republicans just passed a bill that will restrict mail-in voting — and young people and communities of color will be most affected. Once again, radical Republicans are trying to pick their voters, rather than allow the people to choose their representatives.

John, I will always fight for your right to vote, and I want to know you’re with me. Sign our petition right now to support vote by mail in North Carolina >>>

Look, access to the ballot box is the cornerstone of our democracy. It should never have become a partisan issue.

But the radical wing of the Republican Party — the folks who are more concerned with staying on Donald Trump’s good side than with actually serving their constituents — are using the Big Lie to justify making it harder for the people to choose their leaders.

We won’t stand for it here in North Carolina. Please, join with me to support mail-in voting: Add your name right now >>>

Thanks so much,

Roy
