** Aloha Members,

Today at the Hawaii Republican Party State Committee meeting, by majority vote of 32 to 13, the committee agreed to deny the only convention challenge appeal. Bottom line - the results of the 2021 State Convention are final.

Additionally, the committee approved an extension for the Chair to submit a budget to the committee to October 2nd, and approved the nomination of Steve Lipscomb as Finance Chair, Elizabeth Vary as Vice Chair and Roy Howard as Analytics to the State Finance Committee.

Now is the time to put aside our differences and to roll up our sleeves and begin the work needed to prepare the battlefield to support Republican candidates who will step up to run in 2022!

The 2022 election will be a once in a decade election, due to reapportionment. ALL 76 Legislators are up for re-election in addition to the Governor and Lieutenant Governor, two U.S. Congress seats and a U.S. Senate seat.

We are 385 days away from the Primary Election and 472 days away from the General Election, and we don’t want to say on November 9th that “we wish we had more time!”

I encourage all of you to contact your Precinct President, District Chair or County Chair to volunteer.
