Summer is nearly through and it's been a long, difficult 17 months since many of us have seen one another outside of virtual spaces. So we're going to try to put the social back into socialism with multiple upcoming opportunities to meet with your peers in person over the coming weeks. Between post-signature gathering lunch tomorrow for the NEWR ballot initiative to laid-back park hangouts with the Electoral Committee and the Chapter as a whole, we'd love to see your lovely faces again. In lieu of a monthly business meeting, we'll be having a chapter-wide social on August 14th at 11am at a location that's still TBD. As of this moment we're bouncing around plans for a cookout and clothing swap, but are always open to new ideas. If you are interested in helping to organize the social or would like to plan any sort of social gathering for your comrades, please hit us up at [email protected].
