Friends, I hate to come to you like this, but with just five hours until our October mid-month fundraising deadline, I've got no choice.

In this email, I'm going to ask you one more time to pitch in before this deadline. But first, I want to be really clear about what will happen if we miss our goal.

In August, President Trump came to New Hampshire to personally recruit his former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski to run against me. That's the same Corey Lewandowski who was responsible for putting Trump into the White House in the first place - and now Trump is returning the favor.

Even worse, the GOP is dumping money into this race to help defeat me: GOP outside groups are spending more against me than all other in-cycle Democratic senators combined.

And I can't say I'm surprised: With CBS News reporting that New Hampshire could decide Senate control, the GOP is desperate to flip this seat and keep their Senate majority. The only way we defeat the GOP and take back the Senate is if we hit every single fundraising goal - but with just five hours to go, we're still $7,079 short.

Friends, missing this goal could put our chances in real danger. So I'm counting on you to come through right now.
