This week, the relentless campaign by Christian nationalists to outlaw all abortion faced its first roadblock when a federal judge temporarily blocked Arkansas' total ban on nearly all abortions. But make no mistake about it, John, this is all part of the plan for these Christian fundamentalists and their attempt to control our laws. Don't just take our word for it, here's what Governor Asa Hutchinson had to say, the man who signed Arkansas' abortion ban in the first place:

"I signed it because it is a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade."

That's right -- Christian nationalists in Arkansas passed this law specifically because they're hoping that once it's appealed to the Supreme Court, the Court's conservative majority will strike down Roe v. Wade. And when that happens, we can guarantee that the same restrictions will be codified in states like South Carolina, Oklahoma, Idaho, Texas, and in states all across the country where Christian nationalists make policy.

Christian nationalists are leading a movement across the country to deny a person the right to make their own choices and control their own bodies. That's why the Center for Freethought Equality is demanding Congress take action to defend choice and pass the ROE Act. But we need your help to make it happen.

John, if you care about protecting a person's right to choose, if you believe that these decisions should be left only to patients and their doctors, please rush a gift of $10, $25, or whatever you can today. >> [link removed]

Now is not the time to back down -- now is the time to fight back. We're honored to have you by our side as we fight for a country that is ruled by reason, not religious extremism.

P.S. The Christian nationalists forcing these laws on states and cities across the country are working overtime to make their extreme agenda the law of the land. We have to stop them. We need to prioritize this fight, but we don't have the resources to make it happen. If you believe that Chrisitan nationalists have no right to determine another person's bodily autonomy, please rush a $25 gift today. Here's the link: [link removed]
