On Tuesday, July 13, conservatives scored a major victory in the special election for State House District 34. Republican Devan Seabaugh prevailed with 63 percent of the vote, defeating a far-left liberal candidate. Seabaugh's hard-fought victory comes after a months-long push by Greater Georgia to secure a conservative win through grassroots outreach and engagement – going toe to toe with Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight operation and emerging victorious. Since April, Greater Georgia has been on the ground, registering new conservative-leaning voters and working to get out the vote via door-knocking, text-messaging, phone-banking, and mail as part of the organization's larger efforts. The result? The conservative candidate in the race gained 7 percentage points over the same race in November 2020.
