Alleged sex-trafficker Matt Gaetz and QAnon Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene are now campaigning together. That means two of the most bigotted and dangerous representatives are spreading their vile rhetoric all across America -- and they're seeing huge results.
These two lawmakers spent the entirety of the pandemic ignoring science and endangering millions of Americans. They unequivocally supported Trump, voted to overturn the election results, and are backed by QAnon. Greene was stripped of her committee assignments. Gaetz is undergoing a lawsuit for sex-trafficking. And yet they are raising money hand over fist and energizing their base of dangerous far-right extremists.
It may feel easy to dismiss Greene and Gaetz. It was easy to pretend that Trump didn't have a chance of winning in 2016. But team, they're breaking fundraising records and gathering thousands of people for their campaign stops.
They are doing something awful, and they are doing it well, which is why we need to fight back right now. We can't afford to give them any more ground in 2022.
Their facist movement is deadly, and we can't let them further divide America with their hatred and bigotry. The 2022 election results will speak volumes about whether or not America is ready to embrace progressive ideals, protect everyone's rights, and defeat far-right extremists like Gaetz and Greene.
