Team,

The last time the federal minimum wage was raised was exactly twelve years ago today, in 2009. Since then the minimum wage has remained stagnant at $7.25.

Meanwhile the cost of housing, food, health care, and basic necessities have skyrocketed in the past decade. The minimum wage was created to protect workers and ensure livable wages, and right now millions of families are being left behind.

All workers deserve to be paid a living wage. If you agree will you add your name to tell Congress it's time to raise the minimum wage?

Here's the truth: $7.25 is simply not enough for people to afford the increasing cost of living. If we're going to recover from the pandemic and build a stronger economy for everyone, raising the minimum wage is a critical next step.

Living wages are good for workers, families, and the economy and would lift millions of Americans out of poverty. Chris ran for Congress to be a champion for working families -- that's why he's fighting to increase the federal minimum wage to ensure all families can make ends meet.

It's past time to raise the minimum wage to be a living wage. Add your name to tell Congress to take action to raise the federal minimum wage >>

Thank you,
