John, It’s unbelievable. President Biden and the Department of Health and Human Services have targeted Indiana, and not in a good way.
They took a hammer to Governor Holcomb’s Gateway to Work program.
This program required adult Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) members who are able-bodied to work, seek employment, or participate in a minimum of 20 hours of community service per week in order to receive health care provided by the state.
With over 135,000 high-wage, high-demand jobs open RIGHT NOW, this sounds like common sense, right?
But, thanks to President Biden, that work requirement has been revoked. This is sad news for Indiana’s workforce.
Governor Holcomb has worked tirelessly to grow and advance the Hoosier economy. A huge component of that is a strong workforce.
"With our growing economy, we need every able Hoosier to join the workforce." -Governor Holcomb
Thank you,
-Holcomb Crew
