Folks,

Mississippi’s attorney general just asked the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade — and erase the constitutionally-protected right to an abortion that has been the law for almost 50 years.

I’m the only Senator who has worked at Planned Parenthood, and I’m prepared to do everything in my power to fight this. Our rights are not up for debate — we won’t go backwards now.

Add your name if you agree: If Mitch McConnell’s hand-picked Supreme Court won’t protect the right to an abortion, then Congress must.

For years, Mitch McConnell has waged an undemocratic campaign to radically reshape the Supreme Court.

He denied President Obama’s nominee Merrick Garland a hearing and kept a vacant seat open for Donald Trump.

Then he installed Brett Kavanaugh, who I said at the time was a serious threat to women’s freedom.

Finally, he installed a third Trump nominee during an ongoing presidential election, defying the final request of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and rushing the confirmation process just one week before Election Day.

This is personal to me. We need to do everything we can to protect the right to an abortion. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, Congress must act.

Add your name if you’re with me: We need congressional action to protect the constitutionally-protected right to an abortion. Every person deserves the right to make their own health care choices.

I’m so grateful to have you in my corner — and I know that together, we can defeat this cynical right-wing effort and guarantee this freedom for decades to come.

Thank you for raising your voice.
