The PRO Act will:

Empower workers to form unions and bargain over wages and work conditions.
Hold corporations accountable for union-busting.
Repeal “right to work” laws, which were created during the Jim Crow era to divide Black and white workers.

Corporations declared war on the union movement a generation ago, and inequality has raged out of control ever since―directing virtually all new wealth to the richest 1%.

That same inequality is at the base of the long-term Social Security funding shortfall―if the ultra-rich paid their fair share, we could not only afford Social Security, we could afford to increase it.

Here’s the bottom line: Strong unions lead to a strong Social Security system. That’s why it’s so important for the Senate to pass the PRO Act and Protect the Right to Organize.

The PRO Act already passed the House on a bipartisan basis―now it’s the Senate’s turn to act. But Republicans, and even some moderate Democrats, are standing in the way. So we need to turn up the pressure.
