This week, we asked for your help to contact senators on the Armed Services committee and ask them to add an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to prohibit taxpayer dollars from funding CRT in the military.
Senator Tom Cotton offered the amendment, but sadly the Democrats on the committee rejected it.
But Senator Cotton was not deterred and offered a second amendment to require defense contractors to disclose any materials used by their company for racial sensitivity training.
This amendment was adopted!
Requiring disclosure and transparency is a partial victory, and we thank you for calling in and adding your support on this issue. There are conservative champions in the Senate who are willing to fight alongside you, and they feel supported by your calls.
