Chapter MeetingĀ

A slim majority of our members voted to return to in-person meetings in our poll, but given the narrow margin, a recent uptick in COVID cases, new mask recommendations, and the administrative burden of vaccine verification, we decided to move forward with remote meetings. We are planning some in-person events for later this summer and will hope to see you there soon, but in the meantime weāll look forward to seeing you on Zoom.
We will be meeting on Wednesday, July 28 at 7pm to continue building towards a socialist Santa Barbara! Join us as we ramp up for future political education and social events this summer,Ā organize labor solidarity efforts via our Fight for the Public campaign, discuss the potential to convert the City golf course into public housing, and prepare for the 2021 DSA National Convention. We will also hear about ways to get involved in the continued fight for Single Payer healthcare in California, public banking in Santa Barbara, and more. We'll look forward to seeing you there!
