“Democrats could suffer a big fall in 2022 elections”

Y’all , this isn’t a joke. Experts are deeply concerned about our chances at a Democratic majority in 2022. A prominent democratic strategist fears that democratic turnout “could tail off sufficiently to let the GOP win the handful of seats necessary to take over the narrowly divided House.” And what’s worse: The National Republican Congressional Committee has out-raised the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee by more than $10 million.
We should all be worried. Losing our House majority would be a devastating blow to immigration reform, health care reform, student loan forgiveness, climate action, and so many other pressing issues. But this isn’t just a party issue -- it’s an issue of voter turnout. In particular, pundits are saying that “young voters — those 18 to 29 — will be vital” in 2022. We must boost midterm turnout.
Voto Latino is working to register and mobilize young voters but we desperately need your financial support. Will you donate now to help us prepare for 2022?

Experts are predicting that “the only way Democrats are going to succeed in 2022 is by keeping the level of youth engagement that they benefited from in ’18 and ’20.” Friends, that is exactly Voto Latino’s mission.
I’ll be honest: we’re behind our July fundraising goal. By now you’ve heard us say that it costs $15 to register a voter and $3 to mobilize them. So, here’s my urgent ask: Can you pitch in $18 to Voto Latino to help us get ahead?

With Republicans relentlessly attacking voting rights from Arizona to Texas to Pennsylvania (and everywhere in between), this is not the time to slow down our voter registration efforts. But if we fail to reach our fundraising goals, that’s exactly what we’ll have to do.
I’d love to be able to show strong fundraising numbers for July when I meet with Voto Latino’s President, María Teresa Kumar, next week.
If you can, please donate $18. Your gift will allow us to hit our July fundraising goals so we can continue registering Latinx voters across America.
