John,

"We are not out of this pandemic yet at all, but the vaccines are our way
out," says Dr. Chris Beyrer, professor of epidemiology at Johns Hopkins
Bloomberg School of Public Health, in our latest Road to Recovery video
"Addressing COVID-19 Vaccine Concerns for Children."

In the video, Dr. Beyrer provides the latest expert views on kids and
COVID-19 vaccines -- an issue that has been a major topic in the news, an
urgent concern for many parents, and even came up in this week in a town hall
with President Biden. Watch now:

Wide-spread vaccination is essential to getting kids safely back to normal
activities -- not only protecting them from the virus, but also helping to
address the mental health, educational, and social challenges children have
faced during the pandemic.

Dr. Beyrer shares three reasons why children 12 and up should be getting
vaccinated today, and an example of how "kids are doing better than adults in
terms of responding to the vaccine." The video also looks at the timelines for
children under 12 to have access to vaccines, and the way trials are being
conducted to get us there.
