Pam and I are really excited to cheer on Team USA as we catch up on the opening ceremonies during Primetime coverage tonight!

We absolutely love the Olympics and can’t wait to watch the incredible athletes. I have to say, I was briefly on the swim team back in high school, but I realized pretty quickly that I wasn’t exactly an Olympic contender... Congressman feels like a much better fit.

In politics, our Olympics - the 2022 election - is still a ways away. But I’m starting to feel like our race here in California’s 10th district is going to be the main event. What happens here is likely to decide who wins the House majority!

So just like all the amazing athletes who qualified for these Olympics, we can’t start training right before the games. We’ve got to prepare years ahead of time, and that’s exactly what we’re doing right now by building up our campaign and organizing early.

If we’re going to stop the Republicans from taking control of Congress, then we need more everyday champions like you to pitch in so that we can protect California’s most vulnerable Democratic seat. Can I count on you?
