Texas Democrats are running out of time. They’re in DC fighting with everything they’ve got to protect voting rights and our democracy -- but they need Congress to do its part.

This is a make or break moment for our democracy. In state after state, Republicans are pushing forward extreme voter suppression bills, bills to audit the 2020 election results, and efforts to subvert our fair elections.

We can’t just count on turnout or organizing to defeat these bills. We need Congress to step up, put aside the filibuster, and pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. This is too important to miss the moment.
